Our history

Chuck Wright started in the electrical industry while still in high school, working for an electrical contractor in Southern California. From there, he went to work for Wesco Distribution, where he moved up the ranks and was offered the chance to manage a location of his choice. On an inclination from John Denver’s Rocky Mountain High, Chuck chose Denver, Colorado. Chuck’s natural sales abilities got him noticed by several manufacturers over the next few years, and he was offered a position with Coleman Cable, which he could not turn down. After many successes and promotions with Coleman Cable, Chuck grew weary of the road and wanted to spend more time with his family. On another inclination, but a different song this time, Chuck moved back to Colorado without a plan, just Kenny Loggins’, Leap of Faith calling him home. Shortly after returning to Colorado, Chuck received a call from a longtime friend whom he had met back in his contractor days in high school. His friend was now running an electrical representative agency and suggested Chuck should start a representative agency as well. In 2000, Chuck started Agents West Rocky Mountain, which, after a short while, became C. Wright and Associates.
